What is home insemination or ICI? 

Sometimes called the turkey baster method, the form of home insemination which Eive Kits utilises is actually Intracervical insemination (ICI) which involves putting sperm using a syringe into the vagina, mimicking intercourse. 

 

How is it different to IUI 

Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) involves putting sperm directly into the uterus using a tube that goes through the cervix. The sperm has been specially washed. In this context washing doesn’t have anything to do with cleanliness, but “washed” means the semen has gone through a process of separating the sperm from the rest of the ejaculate.  IUI should only be undertaken at a medical clinic.  

 

Can you recommend how I find a donor? 

Eive Kits are not in a suitable position to help in this matter at this stage and we strongly recommend that you ensure that you have considered all health and legal risks of carrying out insemination methods outside of a licensed fertility clinics.  

 

Can I reuse the syringe and specimen cup for the sperm? 

No- reusing sterile products is not advised due to the high risk of possible infection. 

 

What is your shipping policy?  

The normal delivery timeframe for your order is 2-3 business days after your order is placed.

We offer FREE shipping to UK on all orders over £16. For orders less than £16 our standard UK shipping (3-4 days) is £3.99.

We are a UK based business and currently we only ship to addresses within the UK. All of our products are delivered in discreet packaging. 

 

Do you offer returns? 

We do offer a full refund if you need to return your original order to us for any reason.

Our policy allows returns within 30 days of the receipt of your order. The contents must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, without any signs of use or damage.

Once we receive your return, we'll process your refund as quickly as possible. Please note that it may take a few days for the refund to reflect on your original payment method.
